The Heavy Tree is Up, Muggles and Garlic
We went down to the wilder today with the sole purpose of getting the heavy tree finally in position. We had left it in a great position for lifting up, so Benniboy released the blue rope holding it back, while Ali G held it with the pink rope. Benniboy quickly moved to the other end and pull up from above the crane. Then we realised it was too far away from the "Y" shape branches. So we lowered it, and shoved it across. Then we pulled it back up, this time it was a lot harder and there was less weight to counter it. It was up just above and to the right of the "Y". So Benniboy went up to the "Y" and pulled the tree into position, he then tied it in with blue rope.
Next we had to get the other end up 2 levels. It was nice and easy to pull up, after moving the crane and breaking off a weak branch. It was a snug fit to get in the over end, due to the angle. It just fits, but we still need to adjust it, a lot of tree is sticking out over far end and not much on near end.
During the positioning of the heavy tree, we could hear junior treeswingers at the treeswing. They were very loud and gave away their position easily. We then heard then say "Let's go this way". Another junior treeswinger wanted to go different way. They persuaded them by saying "but there's a bigger treehouse this way". They knew there was a treehouse there and probably knew about the other treehouse, seeing as they said this one was bigger. This sent chills through our bodies. They were coming, with their loud, high pitched voices. They surrounded us, we had no time to hide. Ali G was on level 3 and Benniboy sat on level 5. One of them read the Bpw sign, and then told the others it was Ben's treehouse. They looked up and screamed "look they've put a dead body up there". They were referring to Ali G, as he had climbed in between level 3 and 5, and was leaning across in a dummy like way. They then found the mini skateboard and it sounded like they just threw it. Then the parents came and probably saw us up the saplin, so they escorted the juniors away.
Benniboy went right up and on the "Y" shape branches. He raised the heavy tree up on to a bump on the right branch, this would make getting the other end in easier.
While doing this, we were muggled again! This time a father and son on bikes. They saw the skateboard that had been moved by the previous muggles. Then the dad said "look at that tree ladder". The boy wanted to climb it and the father said "could". But then they moved around a bit and the boy changed his mind, maybe he saw us or just realised the height of the saplin. The father said it reminded hime of the treehouse in Harpenden, we must take a field trip to this legendary treehouse. They then went a few minutes later. They must have seen Benniboy.
We tied up both ends and took the pink rope off. We then deployed to Mcdonalds. We were ready for some food. We left full up and needed to digest our food. We saw treeswingers in the car park, next to an inbetweener's car.
We met nh at the Wreck. It was time for nh to lose his 3 in a row title. Benniboy just managed to beat nh at the end, it was a long match.

We then played some night time volleyball. If Benniboy lost he had to drink one of the garlics from the previous forfeits. If they lost - sip papa's garlic. Ali G and nh won- 20-18 and 20-17 consecutively. We then went to the local shop and Benniboy got a cherry flavour fizzy drink, nh got crisps. We went back to the bench in park. Benniboy poured the papa's special garlic in a bottle and then poured some cherry fiz in too. He quickly downed it. It was bad, but not as bad as swallowing it on its own. I can still taste the garlic as I write this, aah.
