Wilder Studies

Wednesday 15 September 2010 - -

Today was another fun filled wilder day. We arrived at home time, so quickly deployed to the safety of the wilderness. We climbed the saplin and analysed the heavy tree's position. We had a plan, and set to it. Pulling the far end up is fine, as long as there is nothing to block it. This time the other end was hitting the saplin. We managed to get the close end by the side of the main saplin tree, allowing the far end to be raised up. The heavy tree is now horizontal. It is very close to being in position and becoming the strongest treehouse structure in the wilderness. While Ali G was belaying the rope on the ground a dog walker muggle walked right past him and looked up in astonishment.

We needed to get the blue rope from the far end, so we tied up the tree. Benniboy carefully walked to the far end.

He retrieved the blue rope and used it to tie up the far end, it is about 1.5m from the "Y" branches, so close. While Benniboy was walking across the heavy tree, 2 treeswingers drove past on their mini mopeds.

We arranged to get a papa's and meet nh at the Wreck Park in Park Street. We had the bbq chicken and all the meats pizzas. It was then time for football. We played a quick best of 3 goals, in about 15 mins. So decided to play another round, but up to 5 goals, but then took too long, so made the last match only 3 goals.

Scores:

Round 1
nh  3 - 2 Benniboy
Benniboy 3 - 0 Ali G
Ali G 0 - 3 nh

Winner = nh

 Round 2
Ali G 3 - 5 nh
Benniboy 4 - 5 Ali G
nh 3 - 1 Benniboy

Winner = nh (x2)

Nh won the title prevously held by Ali G and managed to defend the title in round 2, Ali G got the goal keeping award and best stack award.
