It was the start of the summer tournament, the treeswingers were ready for another season, despite being out of shape and the weather being way to hot for sports.

Today was also Ali G's birthday, he was no longer a teenager. We had got him 2 wilder balls and some new goalie gloves.

We started as usual with Wilderball. We had to make do with no crossbar. There was what seemed like police and a dog walking all over the wilder. The came past a couple of times, but didn't seem interested in us. All the matches were high goal differences.

Next we had a short break. It was still very hot, but the sun was starting to set now. We all agreed that the new goalie gloves were much better, great grip and light.

We started field football at the normal goal, next to the car park. Started with the previous winner in goal. Then halfway through the second match, the football club came, so we let them use the goal.

We checked the football pitch in the hedges, but there were no goals. We deployed to the rugby goal posts. The match continued. Ali G just beat Benniboy who must have hit the posts at least 5 times. Benniboy's accuracy was very off today.

The last match between Benniboy and Nh took what seemed like an hour. We were both tired, dehydrated, hungry and aching - but neither of us wanted to lose. Nh had the lead with 2, Benniboy caught up. But then they spent a long time missing and collecting the balls. Eventually 2 junior treeswingers came and acted as ball boys for us. In the end Nh got one on one with the goalie, as Benniboy helplessly lay on the floor.

We then had to postpone the tournament till another day, as Ali G had to return home.

The next day we met late for the finale of the tournament: volleyball. Ali had a time limit of 45, which left 15 minutes per game. It started Nh vs Benniboy. Nh quikcly got into the lead and Benniboy seemed to give up. Nh thrashed Benniboy with 20-8. Next it was Nh vs Ali G, Nh won again, Ali G got an equivalent of an extra goals worth with 12-20 over Benniboy. Then Benniboy made some silly mistakes in the last match and lost.

This meant Benniboy and Ali G were tied on 5 each. So it went to goal difference. Every 6.5 points in volley ball counts as 1 goal. This made the total goals for Benniboy 13 and for Ali G 14. Benniboy had sadly lost. The forfeit was 2 pizza sauces mixed together, the sauces were picked by each of the winners.
