Laughing Treeswingboys - tree surgeoneering

Wednesday 28 December 2011 - -

Today there was only 2 treeswingboys. We had received a batch of 100 N2O chargers, so Nh brought them along. We arrived around 3.40pm, there were a lot of muggles/dog walkers about. Benniboy took his whipper into Nh's car. Nh had brought a box of 50.

We waited for some of the muggles to go. Two dog walkers were coming across the field, when they got to the car park we realised it was Layla and Danika - one of them had dyed their hair bright ginger and it was curly. The area had settled and cleared of muggles so we went for it. Hyperventilating into our balloons.

We said we would do 5 each at first, this then turned into 10. We were pretty high and there were noises from behind - it was junior treeswingers on push scooters. We didn't care and just laughed hysterically. We continued the session and went onto 15 each.

Another dog walker came and we acted cool - or at least tried too, he then drove off. We continued until we had gone through the whole 50. We thought we had misplaced some in our confusion and dissociation from reality. We desperately rummaged around for just one more charger. We managed to find one, then split it between us to prolong the high. We then found another, but that was the last.

We had spent over an hour inhaling laughing gas, it was now dark. It seemed only like 20-30 mins had passed. We then deployed to the wilder. We took the saw and hammers. We got to work cutting the branch in key areas. We got the end off. Then tried to get a big extending branch off. it had gone pretty much all the way through, but still wouldn't snap off. Eventually it gave in. We have started sawing the middle and hack some of it away with the claw hammer.

The next time we do laughing gas we will film our reactions. Here are some examples:
