Cinema Challenge

Wednesday 1 September 2010 - -

The current record is held by Alastair Gray, at 3 movies in one day. We aimed to beat this by seeing 4 movies in one day. Upon arrival at Enfield Cineworld the treeswingboys realised it would be very costly and tiring to endure 4 movies. We opted for only 2 movies - grown ups and piranha. Then we would buy the unlimited card at a later date, this would work out much more cheaper and less embarrassing.

Between the films we stopped at pizza hut. Super supreme and meat feast, on a cheesy bites base. The treeswingboys scoffed it down, with their free tap water. The total cost of the meal came to £15.98.

After lunch we decided to see Piranhas 3D which came to £20.50, they questioned our age, however Nh didn't have his ID on him so the staff needed convincing. Luckily the guy was decent and sold us the tickets, we then had a 30 minute wait upstairs for the film. We looked through our wallets for different cards and then went to the movie. Fortunately the woman letting us in wasnt bothered and let us in without question. However Ben nearly messed up by prematurely getting his ID out. Nh and Ali G went to the toilets before heading in, and we saw various good trailers such as Jackass and the Last exorcist. We all enjoyed Piranhas however Ali G found it quite jumpy and scary, we rated it 8/10.

Although we failed the movie challenge, we learnt from our mistakes and will have another shot at the challenge in the Winter.
