Treehouse Under Siege!!

Tuesday 7 September 2010 - -

Benniboy arrived at the wilder at 11:05 today. The arrangement was for the 2 treeswingers to meet at 11am, but Benniboy suspected Ali G would be about an hour late. But, Alastair was a full 2:50 hours late, tut tut tut. He arrived at 1.50pm, leaving poor Benniboy alone in the dangerous wilder.

Bennoboy managed to secure the new tree structure and lift a whole tree up the saplin. However, it took a lot longer, as he only had one pair of hands.

Bablu Plank
It was a wet day, had already rained a little, leaving the planks slippery. At about 1pm it starting really raining and there was thunder and lightning. Benniboy quickly deployed to the Miata. Then he witnessed 2 sixth formers entering the wilder, just after the heavy rain stopped. Ali G called and said he would arrive just before 2pm.

When Ali G arrived, the treeswingboys ate their builder's pack lunches. We then tried pulling the big tree with the little skateboard, but were unsuccessful. The tree has been moved at further 5 metres.

A bad and devastating discovery was made today. While Benniboy was walking back into the wilder and waiting for Alig G's arrival, he walked past the treehouse. To his horror - it had be sabotaged!

Tiles, bag, flag and walls torn down
Ripped down tile
We suspect it was the 2 muggles from Saturday, the 15 year old looking wilder boys. 3 tiles had been recklessly ripped off. The wall in the corner that we had only just been working on had been kicked through, snapping the planks, leaving them unusable. The main stick and plank for climbing up had been removed too, luckily we found the stick and will be replacing it and hammering it in with nails. Oddly they kind of helped us by attaching some string to the bouncy ladder and a close tree, this stabilised the ladder, but made it too close to the tree.

Later ,nh was able to join the treeswing clang. However, he needing picking up and it was a struggle to pursuade Ali G to drive to nh's house. He eventually agreed, accepting a £1 payment in return. We went and got a Papa. We ordered the new Spicy Perpperoni and Chicken Tikka. The Spicy Pepperoni wasn't up to fiamma standard, but was still a great tasting pizza. The tikka was ok, but not the best and probs won't be ordered again.

We then went to the treehouse to show nh the damage. While searching for the missing strong stick for climbing the treehouse, we came across a little amatuer hut. It look like it was the work of treeswing muggler boys. So we decided to destroy it, to show them that us treeswingboys mean business and to warn them not to mess with us experienced wilder goers.
