The big tree needed to be fully moved to the saplin base, it was sat in a dangerous muggle area. We ingeniously used the metal pole instead of the muddy skateboard. The tree slipped along smoothly, then plopped onto the muddy ground, we gathered momentum and carried on. We were making fast progress, travelled at least 20 metres in a matter of seconds. But, then a muggle canine beast walker came and we had to stop.

The treeswingers then went looking for some more trees. We found a strong bendy tree, snapped it to ground, just need to get roots out, will do another time. We returned to the big tree, the area was safe. While we were gone, the muggle dog must have done a shit on the end of the tree, tut tut. Ali G noticed it because of the flies. Benniboy scraped it with sticks. We then quickly dragged it to the saplin.

We then needed to position the tree Benniboy had pulled up yesterday. This was an awkward job and would be good if we had some more hank. We eventually got it in the "Y" branches, but realised we couldn't reach the rope that was tied to the end of the tree. Will have to put some planks up, for easier access. We had to leave the climbing rope up saplin overnight.

We went for a late lunch at 4pm, decided to go to Mcdonalds, hadn't been in a long time. We hit annoying traffic, due to a one of the 2 roads leading to Mcdonalds being closed. This added to our hunger.

After scoffing down our Mcdonalds and free cheeseburgers, we thought we'd look at prices at Homebase. We needed some more rope to help us ascend trees to the saplin, the hank would have been great, but was a pricey £16+. So we got some blue rope £11.19 - 30 metres. We found some great waterproof sheets, perfect for making tents or treehouse roofs, it was £3, might be cheaper elsewhere.


We returned to the wilder and it started raining. We called nh, to see if he could join us, but he was having car trouble. So we decided to postpone the cinema till thursday. Benniboy retreived the bags from saplin and the treeswingsboys drove home.
