??... Err I dunno and The Last Inbetweeners Ever

Monday 18 October 2010 - -

Benniboy went to uni today and had no lectures, we had booked a study room in the library. Benniboy had grinded the mushrooms in the coffee grinder, so there was some coffee mixed in as well. He poured half into a yogurt. Then mixed it up and said "here goes", his uni friends watched carefully, then he said it will take at least 30 mins for anything to happen. It would take 30mins-2hrs to start working, after 30 mins Benniboy felt a little buzz. After 2 hours not much happened so he ate a load more.

Fly Agaric/Amanita Muscaria:

  • In general, fly agaric is not recommended because of potential adverse effects. Taking agaric may cause visual and auditory hallucinations that appear after 60 minutes, peak within three hours, with certain effects lasting for up to ten hours. The effect per volume consumed is highly variable and individuals can react quite differently to the same dose.
  • In a moderate dose, agaric acid may have no effect upon the central nervous system, except to paralyze the nerves of the sweat glands. In higher doses, central nervous system dysfunction has occurred. Agaric may cause alternating central nervous system depression and stimulation. Symptoms usually begin with drowsiness followed by a state of confusion, with ataxia (loss of coordination), dizziness, euphoria resembling alcohol intoxication and may proceed to increase activity, illusions, or even manic excitement. These periods of excitement may alternate with periods of somnolence, deep sleep or stupor.
Benniboy was hoping to hallucinate and ave mixed up senses, but he only got some of the effects as described in the 2nd paragraph above. He felt sleepy and queasy at first. Then we started making paper airplanes. Benniboy then felt excited, and found it hard catching the planes. Then he went back to being sleepy. In the end not much happened, may have been the fact he mixed it with yogurt, or he needs to break the tolerance, or that's how he reacts to them.

Upon getting home benniboy did a workout and then felt really tired. So he slept from 9pm to 10.45pm, missing the inbetweeners. He experienced some weird things that are hard to explain, seemed like the mushrooms were still lingering, will last up to a day. Benniboy looks forward to dreaming tonight.

Today was the last Inbetweeners episode ever. Sadly the best show on t.v. is ending, because they don't want to creatively spoil it. There is just the movie left.
