2010 has been a very good year for wilder studies, with the highlights being the construction of the Treehouse, blog and sapling castle. Wanting to end 2010 on a high we were due to finish with the 2010 Winter Tournament, consisting of Wilderball, Football and Volleyball. We would then get a Papa Johns pizza and the loser would be forced to drink the garlic sauce as the forfeit.

We arranged to meet at 11 but Nh and Benniboy got text's off Ali G telling us he was bunking wilder studies as he wanted more sleep. So Nh and Benniboy still met to do some work to the treehouse. We quickly arrived and headed for the treehouse, once we were there we decided to put up some structure beams to ensure we could complete the roof (level 2 flooring). Nh had to cut a tree first before we could put the first structure beam up, we then put a more central beam up. Once these were up it allowed us to put another floor board down on level 2, thus expanding the total capacity and should help minimise the water which falls below the hatch area and keep the climbing area dry.

Afterwards we filmed a short movie of a Treeswinger climbing the treehouse and filming what he was doing whilst up there.

Finally we headed for benniboys car and got the football and filmed another short video of  Nh taking an epic freekick against Ben.


Afterwards we left and went home, concluding a successful Wilderness year. 2011 promises to be an even brighter year with lots of potential ahead. We will continue to progress, improve and protect the wilderness.
