Ali G visits - 100 Plank Retrieval - Smokey Barbeque
Ali g had returned for the weekend, we took the opportunity to have a major plank retrieval. We deployed from the wreck and parked up at Martins. There was a new large crate left for us. We went straight to the flat pallets. They only had 3 horizontal planks, so we could dismantle very quickly.
We had a couple of batches worth in no time. Benniboy got some flags, untied the sides and placed the planks in threes. Nh and Ali G hammered the nails in and dismantled more crates. Benniboy stacked the first back up to 21 planks, 3x7. It was the neatest batch we have done, and because both ends could be tightened the planks were completely sealed in.
We took turns dimantling the crates. Benniboy managed to get 2 batches in his car. We continued with the dismantling. Nh went far back into the crate area and then fell in a gap and was engulfed by the timber. We got some more crates out.
As we were taking one apart, Martin came back. He told us that his car had been broken into, and he was suprised to see 3 hoodies outside his house.
We continued working, got 2 long batches in the Punto. By this time it was getting late. We had time to get one more batch and put it in the fiesta boot. We then decided to leave the rest for another time, we had got 5 batches, 100 planks. We deployed back to the wilder.
We parked up, Nh was getting petrol. Ali G and Benniboy got the 2 batches out of the Miata. We carried them almost to wembley, then a dog walker came. Ali g wasn't used to muggles and so retreated. Benniboy sat on the batches and the dog walker went past.
Ali g had gone back to car, he retrieved rope. Nh came in with a batch. Benniboy carried the batches towards the treehouse. He got one to the treehouse. We had to leave the other at wembley due to muggles. We got the last 2 batches from the Punto.
We went through an off road route to the treehouse. Benniboy went up the treehouse and set up the rope, while the other treeswingers got the last batch from wembley.
They tied each batch up, then Benniboy pulled the up to level 2. We had then all up in quick succession.
Ali G came up the treehouse. Nh gave him a tour. He was impressed by the progress. We descended and called Papa John's. Bablu wasn't in, but he would be on Monday. We got an XL £9.99. We got the new Smokey Barbeque and half Il Carnivoro.
We went in the Punto. Kev served us, gave us pizza and barbeque sauces. We deployed back to the wilder and ate the pizza in the fiesta.
We then deployed, we went up to the car park to turn around. There were some treeswingers outside, next to a car. It was the end of a successful wilder day.
