Martin Still has a Whole pile of Timber - Sanctum

Tuesday 8 February 2011 - -

We arrived at Martin's at 3.40pm. We started dismantling a crate, then Martin popped around the corner and scared us. He said he still had loads more.

We dismantled a complex crate. The timber was dry and cracked easily. We hadn't practised crate dismantling for a while, and so took a while to get only 2-3 crates done. We had 3 batches. 1 batch of mainly structures went in the miata and the other 2 in the fiesta.

We deployed back to the wilder. It was starting to get dark. We parked near entrances near the bottom. Benniboy was trying to get his batch out, but a learner stalled right behind the boot, a dog walker with a flourescent jacket on walked past.

Eventually we got the batch in. We had some boards too. We took turns to carry the heavy batch to the treehouse. We dropped it at the base and went back for the other 2 batches.

Benniboy got them out, while Nh waited inside the wilder. A car came back to a house close by, Benniboy carried on and they didn't seem to care. We carried the batches to the treehouse.

We used the rope to get 2 of the batches up. Then Benniboy carried the last one up, while Nh pulled the other with the rope. We went back to the cars and deployed to the cinema.

We saw Sanctum. We rated it 8/10. As usual the 3d wasn't worth the extra money.
