Finishing The Fence and Football Fever and Ben's Mission Impossible.

Sunday 10 October 2010 - -

Benniboy and Nh had agreed to meet on Sunday, we agreed to meet at 1:30 and Benniboy was around 10 minutes late so we actually met at around 1:40. Nh had a few surprises for Benniboy, showing him a new Head torch he had bought from Poundworld and a pair of his dad's pliers. We were hoping to get a few more planks or boards from asking owners of the skips. But it turned out that nobody was in any of the houses so we couldn't ask.

We deployed back to the wilderness and used the pliers to get the last few remaining fence panels which had previously been too hard to retrieve as they had the fence wire attached to them. The pliers made light work of the fence wire and easily snapped each piece of wire, allowing us to get 1 large fence panel which had been supporting the others from in the ground. 3 large structural planks and a smaller plank.

On our way back there was a small clan (2-3) of treeswingers they only looked about 11-12 and didnt pose a threat. We stopped a few times to let Benniboy get a rest as he was carrying the heaviest plank. Once we reached the treehouse we quickly got all the planks up and it looked like some muggles had possibly been up the top. With all our spare planks on the ground, a few tiles half snapped and 2 planks had come off the tree. This could have been the wind but most likely inhumanly muggles.

We used all the planks on level 2, making it near impossible to fall out of level 2 now, but whilst we were doing this the small clan of treeswingers walked past and one of them shouted "get out of our treehouse" and ran off. We put up all the planks and they looked impressive, it was now around 3:00pm and we were going to play some football to help keep fit and not lose our touch. Before playing football we were heading for the Co-Op but Sonny and his fellow Comrades were parked outside the Co-Op and we decided it wasn't wise to cross their paths so we went to the Batchwood Store, a local shop opposite the bus stop, commonly used by Nh and Ali G in Year 12. We purchased a Sausage and ketchup sandwich for £1.69 as there wasn't a great selection and we didn't have much cash on us. We rated the sandwich at about an average 6/10. The Bread was quite good along with the tasty sausage however it was hugely let down by being quite dry with a scrapping of ketchup.

We met Nh's brothers along with Polish family friend Arick.  The first match was Nh, Dh, Sh Vs Benniboy, Arick and Bh. The first half ended 3-3 and the overall score was 9-7 to Benniboy, Arick and Bh. The second match was Nh, Benniboy and Bh Vs Dh, Arick and Sh. The game started even but then with some very dodgy referee decisions from Arick meant that they took the lead, and eventually won 6-4. Despite some very dodgy refereeing, such as denying a blatant penalty from Dh using his hands to stop the ball from going in. Dodgy fouls and obstructing players from preventing a goal. Overall both games were fun and good exercise but could have done with better refereeing to make it fairer.

Benniboy and Nh went their separate ways but Benniboy agreed that he would be returning to the wilderness tonight at around 1am. To collect a board, crate and possibly some planks. This is a huge challenge but Benniboy is prepared to risk it for a biscuit. Will Benniboy prevail or fail? Can he conquer his fear of the dark tonight?

The best possible scenario is that he can get a board and crate without being seen once. The worst case scenario is being stopped by police/treeswingers and having to explain himself.
